The more that you know, the more that you realize that you don’t. It’s easy to think that we understand, but it’s only when that perception is tested that we realize that there are levels of depth we were previously unaware of. We believe that we learned our lesson, only to realize that the surface was barely scratched. It takes being wrong and making mistakes to broaden our understanding, truly internalize our lessons, and turn them into growth. Only then can we turn a negative experience into a positive one.
